ABOUT THE ROLE & PROJECTS

 

Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO), which was set up in April 2006 to manage Suttons' council housing.

 

SHP are responsible for the day-to-day management of housing services to over 6,500 council tenants and 1,500 leaseholders.

 

As both the In-house Designer and Communications Officer at SHP, I was responsible the company’s communication with different target audiences, including residents, journalists, contractors, suppliers and the community.

 

I advised other employees and managers on communication tasks, and used my written and verbal skills to create a wide range of product and corporate communication material.

 

By communicating effectively with the target audience, I helped to build a positive reputation for the organisation. 

 

One way that I achieve that was via the many publications and associated materials that I produced on a day by day basis.

 

My summary version of the Annual Report to Residents 2014-15 was short-listed for a TPAS award.
